In this role, you will prepare reports and reconcile general ledger accounts. You will use your effective communication skills and analytical mindset to present your findings and make recommendations in collaboration of other lines of business. More than that, this role is about constant improvement and doing so with our signature all-win approach in mind.What You’ll DoPrepare monthly/quarterly reports, both internal and external, for the bank's portfolio of securities to include reporting for ALCO, Cash Flows, and Call ReportsReconcile general ledger accountsManage deposit and securities accounts at FHLB, including monitoring activity for CRA groupProcess margin calls for mortgage-backed securities tradesReview and ensure accuracy in the booking of transactions and in investment portfolio reports, resolving discrepancies as neededProvide research and documentation for external Auditing and Regulatory agenciesValidate the content and accuracy of critical management reports generated by Bond Accounting system for the investment portfolio and provide to auditors on an annual basisReview Bond Accounting system periodic updates for impact on portfolio accounting or reporting and continually assess processes for more efficient methods of portfolio monitoringAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat You’ll NeedBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years financial reporting experienceExperience with fixed income securitiesStrong organizational and communication skillsDetail orientedReconciliation and research skillsProficient in Microsoft computer applications, specifically ExcelOur BenefitsAt Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
