Please review the job details below.Maxar is seeking a Sr. Treasury Analyst located in Westminster, CO who will be an integral part of the team within Shared Services. The role provides exposure to cash flow forecasting, global funding and cash management, operational treasury, currency and interest rate risk management, debt compliance, etc. Report to the Direct of Shared Services, the Sr. Treasury Analyst will interact with a variety of functions within and outside of Treasury, including Corporate Accounting, Tax, Legal, FP&A, Finance Leadership, and banking partners.Backfill for employee who transferred to a different role in FinancePrimary Duties And ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Finance and FP&A to identify and resolve issued related to banks, including service of compliance issues, cash management processes, such as forecasting, target balancing, sweeps, etc.Develop broad understanding of, and provide strategic support to, cash, financial risk and insurance functionsDevelop and implement treasury reports in coordination with Finance / FP&AOversee change management processes, including reconciliation, forecasting, and settlementImplement and continually refine key cash management processes related to cash management reporting outcomesSupport Treasury's shared service initiative by overseeing cash management implementations and projectsManage letters of credit and bank guarantee requests including issuance, renewals and reportingPerform special project and ad-hoc financial analysis as necessarySupport segregation of dutiesAnalyze and interpret short-term liquidity forecast, funding requirements and investments reports in order to make recommendations with respect to borrowings or use of excess cashOversee day-to-day activity for bank and investment accountsResearch and resolve exceptionsWork closely with Accounting to ensure proper recording of Treasury activities including cash clearingManagement of corporate credit card programMinimum RequirementsMust be a US citizenBachelor's Degree in Finance or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance or FP&APreferred QualificationsCPA, CTP or related certificationsFamiliarity with treasury management and/or ERP systemsMastery level with MS Excel, Advanced in MS PowerPoint & WordInterest in development professional relationships (both internal an external), for the purpose of advancing the global treasury functionStrong understanding of financial including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, & Cash FlowsHigh degree of business acumen to provide decision supportHigh degree of technical and analytical capabilities to develop financial models and solutionsExperience working in the context of a large, complex, geographical-dispersed organizationContinuous improvement attitude with ability and confidence to make recommendationAbility to quickly synthesize disparate data and provide actionable informationHighly responsive, leveraging abilities to multi-task, work efficiently and meet tight deadlinesEnergetic with a proven ability to work autonomously and quickly adapt to changeIn support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all of our U.S. job postings.
