Working as a Food & Beverage Team Member is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, food preparation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.We are currently looking for a:Noah's Ark - Food & Beverage Host - SeasonalRoles & Responsibilities:Role & Responsibilities:Greet customers, assist with questions, and manage accurate transactions to provide an engaging customer experienceSmile and communicate with coworkers and guestsPrepare and serve food and drinks in a safe and timely mannerMaintain a safe work environment, according to company and external inspection standardsReplenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work areaConduct transactions while ensuring all handling procedures are followed - including credit and refund transactions, loss preventionMaintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guestsMonitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisorEnsure all food product specifications and procedures are followed during preparationUtilize ovens, fryers, broilers, griddles, mixers, and knives to prepare food (age restrictions may apply)Ensure food and ingredients are being properly stored at the correct temperaturesProvide excellent customer serviceFollow all opening and closing as well as operating procedures for the location - including cleanliness and safety, food safety, food quality, guest service and loss preventionAdheres to all training guidelinesQuickly and politely respond to and resolve guest questions and concernsFollow all proper Personnel Protective Equipment guidelinesAll other duties assigned by leadershipEducation and Experience:No education requirements for this rolePrevious work experience is not requiredMust become Food Handler Safety Certified (ServSafe or similar) or become so within 90 days of hire, when required by state and local guidelines.Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.Requirements:Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Wisconsin Child Labor LawsAbility to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shiftAbility to comply with all uniform policiesMust possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulationsMust possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional mannerAbility to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfactionAbility to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independentlyAbility to use step stools, as neededAbility to safely utilize knives and other food preparation equipment, as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workdayAbility to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shouldersAbility to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipmentAbility to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or moreWorking Conditions:This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environmentsFrequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, pollen and other weather conditionsSubject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environmentsTeam member benefits:Working at Noah's Ark is about making people happy!
