Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Ford City, PA Schedule: full time - days/nights - 3x12s - rotating weekends Pay: $38-25/hr + shift differentials Responsibilities:Provide direct nursing care and administer medications to residents, ensuring adherence to physician's orders and facility policies. Conduct comprehensive health assessments on residents upon admission and on an ongoing basis, identifying physical and mental health needs and reporting any changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring that medical and psychiatric needs are integrated into the overall care plan. Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies with speed and competence, providing crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed to ensure the safety of all residents and staff. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania. Prior nursing experience, preferably in a psychiatric, mental health, or substance abuse setting. Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques is highly desirable. Strong communication, observation, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment. Thorough knowledge of psychiatric medications, their side effects, and proper administration, as well as an understanding of mental health and substance use disorders.
