*Job Description:* _*Join Comsat Architects to bring the future of space communications and exploration to Northeast Ohio. *_For our commercial space communications software projects, we are seeking a software developer to join our application development team. This is a client-facing position that requires excellent communications skills as we are working directly with commercial aerospace companies in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of development within time constraints. In collaboration with the rest of the team, you will have a prominent role in contributing to our software applications. *Responsibilities:* * Create custom software integrations and provide support to our commercial partners * Adapt to evolving customer needs as our commercial partnerships grow * Interface with clients and partners to derive software integration requirements * Collaborate with other developers to plan, test, and complete project tasks * Grow your skills to better yourself and the services Comsat Architects provides *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field * 1-2 years of experience in software development * Experience with Go * Experience working with the gRPC framework and protobuf files * Experience creating integrations between preexisting software systems * Strong understanding of network principles * Familiarity with build tools such as Bazel * Highly attentive to details and accuracy * Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with a team * Must be a US citizen or US permanent resident *Desired Skills and Experience:* * Experience in DevOps utilizing tools such as Docker * Experience with Git and version control practices * Experience with Python * Experience interfacing with RESTful/GraphQL APIs * Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres/MySQL) * Proficiency in JavaScript (ECMAScript 2017+) and/or TypeScript * Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React * Experience writing software tests and verifications *About the Company* Comsat Architects was established in 2014 to enhance the connectivity between Earth and space assets such as satellites, CubeSats, landers, and rovers for our customers in civil, defense, and commercial enterprises.
