Team members support clients with all aspects of home and community life, ensuring consistent safety and providing a healthy and professional friendship. Responsibilities include personal hygiene and dressing, scheduling, attending, and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments, shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client, and organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment. Clients live alone or with family and are directed and monitored by DSS, DMHAS, BRS, DDS, Legal Conservators, CCCI, SWCAA, WCAAA, and care management access agencies for daily efficiency.Requirements include a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Candidates should have one or two years of experience working with and/or providing for individuals who live at home and have had a stroke, concussions, brain injury, or TBI. Present a letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience. Car, driver's license, and insurance are required. High-school and/or GED graduate.
