As an addition to the team, you will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field with decades of experience and draw on your own background to contribute to projects that result in heat exchangers that power the world.Pay Range: 100-125k, depending on experience and qualificationsSummary: The Quality Engineer shall be results driven and detailed oriented. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this is a key engineering role responsible for leading the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming materials from receiving inspection to final inspection, ensuring an effective MRB process.Responsibilities:Lead or participate in MRB (Material Review Board) activities to evaluate and disposition discrepant material from production and inspection.Analyze nonconforming material data and coordinate timely and accurate dispositions in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory standards.Manage and monitor nonconformances, ensuring closure through documentation, root cause, and follow-up actions.Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Production, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues impacting production flow and product conformity.Drive and close assigned corrective actions by leading root cause investigation and ensuring effectiveness of implemented solutions.Monitor and report on KPIs including, scrap, rework, defect trends, and aging nonconformances and Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionsSupport and lead process improvement projects targeting quality, yield, and operational efficiency.Support process control plans development with cross functional team.Drive risk-based approach to process (PFMEA).Identify systemic issues and work cross-functionally to implement corrective actions.Contribute to internal audits, regulatory compliance efforts, and risk mitigation activities.Other duties as required in supporting the quality management systems.Required Qualifications:Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and welding symbolsExperience in Welding InspectionsExtensive understanding of company’s boiler and pressure vessel code standards.Excellent in the following skills:Analytical abilityReading and writingCommunicationMathematicalComputerOrganizationalLeadershipProblem-solving aptitude.Desired Qualifications:Understanding of ISO 9001QMS StandardsKnowledgeable in GD&TExperience as a Lead AuditorInspection Experience - Mechanical and ProcessUnderstanding of ASME Section V and ASME Section VIII requirementsKnowledgeable of NDT methods: PT, UT, VT, and Helium Leak Testing (HeLT)Education and/or Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field AND 5-10 years’ relevant experience with equivalent qualifications.Over five years’ quality engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write procedural documents, routine reports and correspondence.
