Key Responsibilities: Provide outpatient care for Hematology and Oncology patientsCover clinic sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PMParticipate in clinic call as neededManage an average of 15-20 outpatient cases dailyEngage in tumor board discussionsUtilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and managementSupport infusion services and onsite diagnostics like CBCsRequired Skills: MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Hematology and OncologyValid medical license for Michigan or eligibility for licensureProven experience with outpatient hematology and oncology careStrong familiarity with tumor board participationExcellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skillsComfort with EMR systems, preferably CernerNice to Have Skills: Experience with chemotherapy administration and infusion centersPrior experience working in a multi-disciplinary oncology settingAbility to participate in research activities or tumor registriesBilingual abilities or additional language skillsPreferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years outpatient Hematology-Oncology experiencePrior utilization of EMR platforms in clinical practiceOther Requirements: Availability to start on 1/19/2026 through 7/31/2026Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; mileage and fuel reimbursement capped at $150Willingness to adhere to licensure, certification, and travel reimbursement policiesAbility to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary teamThis role offers competitive hourly pay rates with weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, and access to hospital resources including infusion centers and onsite diagnostics.
