Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kenner, LA, for a Fire Sprinkler Fitter and Inspector. The role involves installing, inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in accordance with safety regulations and client requirements. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, cutting and assembling piping systems, conducting system tests, documenting inspections, and ensuring compliance with fire safety codes. The candidate will work closely with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure timely and effective project completion. Qualifications Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems.Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and fire system designs.Knowledge of fire codes, safety standards, and compliance regulations.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems.Physical ability to work on ladders, in confined spaces, and under varying conditions.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.Relevant certifications, such as NICET (National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies), are preferred.High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is an advantage.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
