Position Overview:
The Project Manager identifies the projects goals, objectives, and scope, and creates a project plan that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required. This individual is in constant contact with the Installation Supervisors to manage risks and issues and monitor progress to ensure that the project stays on track.
Core Responsibilities:
Build and develop the project installation supervisors to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
Oversee communication and project management with general contractors, vendors, and Installation Supervisors.
Assist in the process of obtaining material, and sub-contractors.
Work with Installation Supervisors to lead projects from the beginning, through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Prepare budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule, from start to finish with each job, ensuring the timeline on each job is followed and on schedule.
Responds to all form of communication within 24 hours.
Monitor job budgets for material and labor through regular meetings with project teams.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency, charge backs and check requests for subcontractors and homeowners.
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field, preferred.
High School Diploma (OR) GED Equivalent, required.
4+ years of project management experience
2+ years of home improvement industry experience
The ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems.
Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
Proven success working with all levels of management.
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Previous CRM Experience, Salesforce Preferred
Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.
Must be able to pass a background check.
