Lead Toddler Teacher

Job Summary We are seeking a very creative, dedicated,compassionate and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher with strong self starter to join our In Home Daycare. The candidate must have a current CBR(criminal background registry) The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, and developmental growth. This role involves leading classroom activities, managing daily routines, to ensure a safe and stimulating learning experience for young children. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in toddlers, or use our curriculum subscription. Supervise and guide classroom activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Manage daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play. Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and social skills among children. Maintain communication with the parent of their child/rens progress. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and sanitation standards. Collaborate with aide to prep curriculum for the week. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings for 1 full year and worked full time, toddler care experience required. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Certification in first aid and CPR required, food handlers, CBR, few other required trainings within 30 days of employment. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create a positive learning environment. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members. Experience with behavior management strategies suitable for young children. Passion for nurturing children's growth and supporting their individual needs.
