Leading the design and delivery of critical product components, the full-time remote Lead Backend Developer will create scalable backend services and APIs, drive system design decisions, and mentor engineers while ensuring high technical quality and performance.Key responsibilitiesOwn delivery for significant features or systems, from requirement clarification to execution and iterationDesign and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support core product functionalityLead structured experimentation and define success metrics, testing strategies, and observability for your areaRequired qualifications6+ years of overall experience in software engineering, with 3+ years in building and shipping production systemsHands-on coding experience in Python and/or TypeScript, with a focus on APIs, services, and data pipelinesStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD practicesProven ability to design and scale distributed systems in production environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
