Behavioral Specialist in School Setting | Cape Coral, Florida

Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized behavioral support within a K-12 school setting in Cape Coral, FL. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic caseload working across multiple school sites, serving students with diverse needs, including autism spectrum disorders and other behavior challenges. Location:Cape Coral, Florida Position Details: Contract duration aligns with the current school year calendar. Full-time hours at 37.5 per week. On-site work, serving various K-12 school settings. Key Responsibilities: Implement and oversee Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions. Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop behavior plans tailored to individual student needs. Provide direct support and coaching to students in IBI (Intensive Behavioral Intervention) classrooms. Conduct assessments and use data-driven strategies to monitor student progress. Facilitate effective communication with families and multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications and Experience: Active BCBA licensure required. Experience working with K-12 populations preferred. Proven ability to design and implement behavioral interventions in school environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with school personnel and families.
