Utility Driver

Sofidel America, a leading manufacturer of tissue products committed to sustainability and operational excellence, is seeking a Utility Driver to join our Warehouse team. The Utility Driver’s primary focus is supporting converting with materials to assist with daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Ability to drive a standard forklift with multiple attachments. Unload/load KP’s, Poly, Core Stock, and Glue to place in the warehouse to keep materials inventory current for production orders. Transport materials to converting lines as needed. Transport and dump all poly, paper, and trash hoppers in proper locations. Return all materials to Sofidel Center when production runs are completed. Ability to run and read a converting production schedule to determine material needs. Assist in transporting any finished goods products from one location to another. Learn the paths of laser-guided vehicles (LGVs) to maneuver around them safely while driving through converting. Ability to properly inspect and lockout trailers to be loaded and unloaded. Assist Finished Goods teams with loading and unloading trailers with product when available. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to operate a forklift with multiple attachments. Experience in a warehouse/distribution environment. Understand and comply with all manufacturing safety procedures including personal protective equipment (required). Able to work in a physically demanding environment including, but not limited to temperature extremes, loud noise, avoiding slipping, tripping, and falling hazards. IVES Certification (Preferred) Able to work a 12-hour rotating shift including nights, weekends, and holidays. Example of rotating shift schedule: Day 1: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Day 2: 6:00 am – 6:30 pm Day 3: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am Day 4: 6:00 pm – 6:30 am 4 days off Able to work overtime as needed.
