Mid-Level Software Developer

What Impact You'll Have Seeking a mid-level software developer to design and build mobile capability solutions supporting offensive research and operator requirements, with a focus on Android platforms and mobile security tooling. What You'll be Owning Develop mobile software solutions in Java/Kotlin to support Android-based capability requirements Perform reverse engineering and binary analysis of mobile applications Conduct testing across virtualized infrastructure and physical devices to ensure functionality across various mobile OS versions and security products Conduct code review and provide patches for existing mobile tools Create technical documentation and user manuals for internal tools Collaborate with operators to understand requirements and develop mobile capability solutions Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate development and research workflows What You Must Have Must be a clearable US Citizen with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly security clearance Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required or equivalent direct work experience Minimum of 5-8 years of related software development experience Programming proficiency in Java/Kotlin for Android development Experience with UI/UX design and development Proficiency with Ubuntu/Linux operating systems Proficiency with Python Experience with scrcpy or similar mobile device mirroring/debugging tools Experience with reverse engineering and binary analysis of mobile applications Familiarity with mobile network protocols and exploitation techniques What Would be Nice to Have Experience with mobile application security assessment or offensive tooling Background supporting operator-facing tools in a mission environment Familiarity with AI-assisted development or research tooling Pay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.
