Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the logistics and warehouse support team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Vance, ALPay Range: $17.00/hourShift: Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with the occasional weekendWhat's the Job?Unpack and inspect goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining accurate records of received items.Lift heavy items and operate a forklift to move materials safely and efficiently.Prepare and document shipments, including posting weights and shipping charges.Stock, organize, and distribute materials within the inventory and manufacturing lines.Assist in preparing kitting packages for assembly production and provide delivery services as needed. What's Needed?High school diploma or GED equivalent.Legal authorization to work in the U.S.Ability to lift heavy items and operate a forklift (preferred but not mandatory).Experience in stocking, shipping, and receiving is a plus.Familiarity with SAP or cycle counting is advantageous.
