IVEK is seeking experienced CNC Setup Machinists to join their team in North Springfield, VT. If you have 3+ years of CNC experience with the ability to edit programs, set up, and operate, this is an opportunity you need to explore! Ideal environment: not only is the shop known for its cleanliness, the culture is close-knit and prioritizes work/life balance Make a real difference: take pride in the precise craftsmanship needed to manufacture products relied upon for critical applications in industries such as: medical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, diagnostics, bio-tech instrumentation and others Duties and Responsibilities: Set-Up: Interpret blueprints, calculate dimensions, install tools, and calibrate machines. Operation: Run production, monitor machine performance, and adjust offsets to maintain quality. Programming: Input/edit CNC programs, including G-code or conversational, for proper tool paths. Quality & Maintenance: Use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers) to inspect parts and perform routine machine maintenance. About the Company: IVEK Corporation was founded in 1979 by Vernon Zeitz in North Springfield, Vermont. This area of the country is rich in pharmaceutical grade talc and control of liquids is important in the purification process. Vernon was involved in this local industry prior to starting IVEK and had the vision to realize that exceptional control of small volumes of liquid for medical and industrial applications has value in the marketplace.
