This opportunity seeks a dedicated Social Worker with expertise in school settings to provide vital support services within educational environments. The role focuses on delivering both individual and group interventions, including social skills groups, to foster student well-being and development. Key Qualifications:Current state licensure as LMSW, LSW, or LCSW with an active school certification through the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE)Proven experience working with students in school settingsAbility to conduct both one-on-one counseling and group sessions effectively Location and Schedule:Position based initially at a campus in Pawtucket, RI, with the possibility of transitioning to another campus in Providence in the following academic year, contingent upon a successful fitFull-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM; Wednesdays extend until 3:00 PM Responsibilities:Provide direct social work services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needsFacilitate social skills groups and other therapeutic group activitiesCollaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to support student successMaintain documentation in compliance with school and licensing standards Additional Opportunities:Potential for part-time summer work to continue impactful student support beyond the school year This role offers a meaningful chance to impact student lives positively through comprehensive support and intervention services in a structured school environment.
