Senior Data Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join a growing data organization and play a key role in building modern, scalable cloud data platforms in Dallas, TX.This is a full time role and not open to contract or C2C candidates.All applicants must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys working with Azure Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and modern lakehouse architecture and wants to be involved in the evolution of enterprise data and AI capabilities.🔑 What You’ll Be DoingDesign and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and SQLDevelop highly scalable Databricks notebooks using Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, and ScalaDesign and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)Build and optimize modern data lakehouse and data warehouse solutionsDevelop and tune complex SQL, T-SQL, Spark SQL, and PySpark workloadsImplement CI/CD and automated deployments using Git and Azure DevOpsWork with large, complex datasets and focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimizationPartner with architects, developers, business stakeholders, and leadership to deliver enterprise data solutionsSupport AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI initiatives through data preparation, feature engineering, model integration, and MLOpsHelp evaluate and implement emerging cloud, data, and AI technologies🎯 What We’re Looking For7+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, or enterprise analyticsStrong hands-on experience with Azure DatabricksStrong experience with Python, PySpark, SQL/T-SQL, and Spark SQLExperience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data FactoryProven experience implementing Medallion ArchitectureStrong understanding of data lakehouse and data warehouse architectureExperience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and automated deploymentsExperience working with high-volume datasets and distributed data processingExposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, feature engineering, vector-based data architectures, or MLOpsStrong communication and problem-solving skills⭐ Nice to HaveMicrosoft Fabric / OneLakeAzure AI services or Generative AIDatabricks certificationsAzure certificationsExperience in Insurance, Financial Services, Accounting, or Actuarial environmentsExperience with enterprise data modernization or cloud migrationIf you're a Cloud Data Engineer who wants to work at the intersection of Databricks, Azure, modern data architecture, and AI, I'd love to connect.
