This includes supervision of faculty and students. The position is a full-time position. The Physician Assistant Program Director does not have a teaching assignment but may fill in for faculty during absences or staffing shortages.Responsibilities IncludeThe Program Director is responsible for the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of the program mission, goals, competencies and curriculum.Responsibilities related to student advisement, clinical administration or supervision, committee work, program planning, evaluation, management, administration, recruitment, and marketing activities are included.Responsible For Programprogram organizationprogram administrationfiscal management of the programcontinuous programmatic review and analysisprogram planningprogram developmentcompletion of ARC-PA required documentsadherence to the Standards and ARC-PA policiessupervision and evaluation of program faculty, staff and medical directorprepare reports necessary for continued approval or accreditation of programActively Participate In The Processes Ofdeveloping, reviewing and revising as necessary the mission statement for the programselecting applicants for admission to the PA programproviding student instructionevaluating student performanceacademic counseling of studentsassuring the availability of remedial instructiondesigning, implementing, coordinating, evaluating curriculumevaluating the programevaluating textbooks, reference books and other teaching materialsMinimum Requirementsproficiency in curriculum developmentmust be a Physician Assistant and hold current NCCPA certificationmust possess a Physician Assistant Masters of Science degreemust be able to work on a 12 month full time basismust possess at least three years of full-time higher education experience at the time of appointmentBenefits Of EmploymentECPI University provides a comprehensive benefits program designed to help our faculty and staff stay healthy, feel supported, and maintain a work/life balance.
