Regional Nurse Specialist, RN I Skilled Nursing Facility
Bane Care Management, LLC - to support our skilled nursing facilities across Massachusetts. This role is ideal for a strong clinical leader with long-term care experience who enjoys mentoring teams, supporting regulatory readiness, and improving quality outcomes across multiple centers. This is a hands-on, impactful position, as you will step in for open leadership roles across the organization, including DON, ADON, SDC, IP and Unit Manager roles, as needed.The Regional Nurse Specialist will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and facility leadership teams to provide clinical oversight, survey support, education, and operational guidance throughout our post-acute and long-term care communities.Responsibilities:Serve as a clinical mentor and advisor to Directors of Nursing and facility leadership teamsAssist with orientation, education, and ongoing mentoring of nursing leadershipSupport facilities during state and federal survey inspectionsConduct mock surveys, clinical audits, and regulatory reviewsIdentify opportunities for clinical improvement and provide written recommendations and follow-up plansAssist with plans of correction and regulatory compliance initiativesCollaborate with Administrators and DONs to improve quality outcomes and resident careInvestigate clinical concerns and assist with risk management follow-up and educationMaintain strong communication with leadership teams during onsite visits and clinical reviewsTravel to assigned facilities as neededQualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingMinimum 2 years of Director of Nursing experience preferred, or equivalent regional clinical leadership experienceStrong background in Skilled Nursing and Long-Term CareKnowledge of state and federal long-term care regulationsExcellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skillsStrong organizational and documentation abilitiesExperience with PCC preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and emailReliable transportation and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight staysBenefits:Competitive compensationFlexible part-time scheduleSupportive and collaborative leadership teamOpportunity to make an impact across multiple skilled nursing communitiesProfessional growth and leadership development opportunitiesLicense/Certification:RN License (Required)Experience:Director of Nursing: 2 years preferredLong-Term Care / Skilled Nursing experience requiredApply today to join a team committed to clinical excellence, mentorship, and exceptional resident care.INDHP
