In our continual commitment to quality service, we maintain a dedicated, qualified, and appropriately credentialed staff in behavioral health and substance abuse.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluationsConfer with staff, patients, and their families regarding diagnosis and treatment.Treat a patient using psychotherapeutic methods and medication, monitoring the effects of any medication and adjusting treatment where necessary.Develop a treatment plan according to the patient's needs and the extent of the emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorder.Write and maintain patient and clinical records.Keep up-to-date with professional job knowledge by reading publications, attending educational conferences, or maintaining professional networks.RequirementsMust have an active Maryland license with 10+ years of experience in psychiatryMust be able to work 20 hours a week as a contractor at our headquarters in Hyattsville, MD$130-150/hr.
