Senior Data Analyst

Role: JLL Technologies is a tech-focused division of Jones Lang LaSalle, a world leader in real estate services and a Fortune 500 company. We are seeking a talented professional to join us as a Data Analyst to develop and deliver data insights and solutions through your technical and business expertise. The successful candidate will join the Portfolio Insights team, responsible for managing and optimizing JLL Client (one of the largest tech companies in Silicon Valley)’s strategic real estate plans. We know that unique backgrounds, experiences and perspectives help us think bigger, spark innovation and thrive together.Responsibilities: Develop and deliver actionable insights and recommendations with the appropriate analytics methodologies and techniques to help Client make informed portfolio decisionsGenerate queries, dashboards, and reports using complex datasets from a wide range of sourcesCollaborate cross-functionally on advanced analytics projects that solve various business problems at scaleTake ownership of projects end-to-end, from initial requirements and data gathering to user testing and deploymentImplement best practices for knowledge transfer and documentation to achieve internal consistency and long-term scalabilityMentor and support junior analysts by providing guidance and promoting a culture of continuous learning and developmentCreate action plans to resolve data-related issues and drive quality improvement to our data ecosystem over time, including the data itself, the analytical data warehouse and the tools used to analyze and interpret results and trendsMinimum Requirements: Strong analytical skills and an abundance of intellectual curiosityBachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative field3+ years of professional experience in data analysis and data visualizationProficient in SQL (any dialect), R and PythonExpertise with spreadsheet-based tools like Google Sheets or ExcelSolution-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced and high pressure environmentStrong communication skills and can communicate business concepts and data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences effectivelyExcellent attention to detail, exhibiting the highest standards of professional integrity and work ethicCultural sensitivity and flexibility in working hours to collaborate with a global teamExperience and comfort working remotely, with the ability to thrive under minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications:Experience in consulting project managementCorporate Real Estate knowledgeFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, App Engine)Track record of making business impact by mining and extracting value from large and disconnected datasetsExperience building and deploying Machine Learning models
