This role is ideal for a finance leader who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and is excited to drive strategic decision-making through data, modeling, and financial insight.This role partners closely with the CEO and leadership team to bring clarity, rigor, and foresight to financial planning, performance management, and company-wide decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Financial Leadership & OwnershipOwn business finance, FP&A, KPI framework, and financial planningServe as the primary finance partner to the CEO and leadership teamSupervise and manage third-party finance and accounting partners, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of reportingBusiness Finance, KPIs & Performance Management (Core Focus of the Role)Own and define company-wide financial and operational KPIsBuild and maintain leadership dashboards, for example covering:Revenue, ARR, growth, and pipeline metricsBurn rate, runway, and cash utilizationGross margin, unit economics, and cost structureCAC, payback, sales efficiency, and GTM performancePartner with GTM, Product, and Operations leaders to:Track performance against plansIdentify trends, risks, and opportunitiesTranslate data into clear, actionable insightsEstablish a consistent monthly and quarterly performance review cadenceFP&A & Strategic PlanningLead budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cyclesDevelop and maintain short- and long-term financial modelsOwn scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisionsSupport leadership on:Hiring plans and headcount modelingPricing and packaging decisionsInvestment prioritization and trade-offsPrepare financial narratives and materials for board and investor discussionsOversight of Accounting & Financial Operations Oversee third-party accounting partners responsible for:Month-end and year-end closeGeneral ledger, reconciliations, and accrualsAP/AR, payroll coordination, and expense managementReview and validate financial outputs for accuracy and completenessEnsure GAAP compliance and appropriate internal controls through partner oversightCoordinate audits, tax filings, and external advisors as neededQualifications & Experience5–7+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or business finance rolesStrong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, KPIs, and performance analysisPrior experience working in a VC-backed startup or high-growth environmentExperience overseeing or managing third-party accounting / finance providersSolid understanding of SaaS metrics and financial best practicesComfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels (analysis, models, dashboards).
