Our client in the Norwich, Connecticut area is seeking a Learning & Development Trainer for a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This position is ideal for a training professional who is passionate about employee development, engaging facilitation, and creating impactful learning experiences that support business goals.The Learning & Development Trainer will be responsible for delivering training programs, supporting onboarding initiatives, and helping enhance employee performance through effective learning strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong presentation skills, experience developing training content, and the ability to connect with employees at all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Deliver instructor-led training for new hires and existing employeesFacilitate onboarding and employee development programsPartner with leadership and internal teams to identify training needsAssist in the design, development, and updating of training materials and learning contentEvaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvementsSupport employee engagement and performance initiatives through learning programsMaintain training records, schedules, and related documentationAdapt training methods to meet different learning styles and business needsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field preferred2+ years of training, learning and development, or facilitation experience preferredStrong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience developing training materials and facilitating group sessionsProficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual learning platforms is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTalentMatch®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
