Lead Java Developer

Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Java Lead Engineer to join our team, focusing on a significant project for one of our largest clients in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications, with a focus on quality assurance and test automation.Responsibilities:Develop and manage automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of software applications.Collaborate with development teams to implement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.Participate in the design and architecture of microservices and cloud-based applications.Engage in test planning, test case writing, and test execution activities.Work closely with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues.Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the development and QA processes.Facilitate communication between offshore teams and local stakeholders in a Scrum model.Mandatory Skills:Proficient in Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Spring Cloud.Experience working in Postgres DBExperience with Rabbit MQ for messaging and communication.Strong skills in Test Driven Development using Karate and Mockito.Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Bamboo, Jenkins, and Confluence.Version control experience with Git and Bitbucket.Experience in test automation using Selenium, BDD (Cucumber/Karate), and SOAP UI/Postman.Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud computing technologies.Knowledge of QA activities including test planning and execution.Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.Strong time management and prioritization skills.
