In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in building high-quality fiberglass pools and spas by layering fiberglass onto molds-helping create the world-class products that bring lasting joy to families.About the RoleAs a Fiberglass Lamination Specialist, you'll work as part of a collaborative team to layer (laminate) fiberglass onto molds. You'll apply fiberglass and resin to build strong, high-quality pool and spa shells, rolling out air bubbles and smoothing the laminate to ensure a quality finish. This position requires teamwork, attention to quality, and a commitment to safety while working with resins, gelcoat, and related materials.What You'll DoLayer (laminate) fiberglass onto molds to build pool and spa shellsApply resin and fiberglass materials to create strong, durable laminatesRoll out entrapped air and smooth the glass and resin mixture for a quality finishProactively identify and address quality concerns during the lamination processWork collaboratively with team members and cross-train in other areas of the department as neededHandle chemicals (resin, glass, catalyst, gelcoat) safely and dispose of waste properlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area after each shiftSupport overall production goals with punctuality, dependability, and a strong safety focusWhat We're Looking ForEducation and ExperienceExperience working with fiberglass lamination or in a similar manufacturing/industry environment (preferred)Ability to pass a pulmonary function evaluation and wear a respiratorKnowledge of chemical handling, resin, glass, catalyst, gelcoat, and related materialsExperience communicating effectively in a team environmentPunctuality, dependability, and strong attention to detailSkills and Qualifications:Strong safety focus and attention to detailFlexibility and willingness to cross-train within the department and help in other areasAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamCommitment to quality craftsmanship and providing great products that create lasting memories for familiesWhy Explore Industries?CompensationHourly Range: $17.25 - $18.50, depending on experience, with regular compensation increases and performance-based raises (up to 25% in the first year) as job-related skills are developed.Actual compensation will be based on experience and current job-related skills.Benefits & Additional CompensationEligible employees receive:Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insurance optionsOptional life and disability insurancePotential access to other incentives or compensation programs based on role and company policy.Ready to dive in?
