The Carbon Trader will be responsible for executing carbon credit trades, analyzing market trends, and identifying new opportunities in the carbon trading market. The role also involves conducting due diligence on carbon offset projects, managing client portfolios, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and voluntary carbon market standards. Additionally, the candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams to generate market insights and support client strategies.QualificationsExperience in market analysis, risk assessment, and financial modelingKnowledge of carbon credit markets, sustainability frameworks, and regulatory standardsStrong negotiation, trade execution, and portfolio management skillsProficiency in building client relationships and providing strategic market insightsExcellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skillsProficiency in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel or other financial softwareBachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldFamiliarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as GHG Protocol, CDP, or TCFD is a plusAbility to work in a team and adapt within dynamic market conditions
