School RegistrarAssures smooth and efficient operation of the school and enhances the productivity and efficiency of the administration by performing the following duties:Compiles student records (e.g., birth certificates, transfers, immunization, etc.) for the purpose of meeting enrollment requirements (state, federal, and/or district requirements).Maintains student records and files for the purpose of documenting and/or providing reliable information.Performs enrollment activities (e.g., inputting student data, updating automated student information system, etc.).Keeps attendance records enters late arrivals and early departures.Processes a variety of documents and materials (e.g., new registrations, transcript requests, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.Assists other personnel as may be required (e.g., school secretary, counselor, etc.) for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities.Assists the guidance counselor in evaluating incoming student transcripts for the purpose of ensuring their conformance with district grading, curriculum, and course credit systems.Note: The above description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. One to three years school registrar experience preferred.Terms of Employment: Salary based on column D of the approved Classified Salary schedule as established by the Governing Board.
