Journeyman Wireman

The Journeyman Wireman is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical theory, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and proficiency to work with electrical tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.Duties/Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial settingsUnderstand and apply electrical theory in practical scenariosRead and interpret blueprints accuratelyUtilize electrical tools and equipment proficientlyDiagnose and solve electrical issues effectivelyEnsure all work adheres to safety standards and regulationsCollaborate with other team members and provide guidance when necessaryOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematicsExpertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and componentsStrong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficientlyKnowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance and safetyAbility to work independently and as part of a team in various work environmentsExcellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team membersAdept at using a wide range of hand and power tools related to electrical workAbility to work in various environmental conditionsAdept in conduit bending and installation Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalentPossesses an active journeyman wireman license (preferred)5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical systemsProficient in interpreting blueprints and technical diagramsComprehensive understanding of electrical codes and safety protocolsProven track record of diagnosing and solving complex electrical issuesDemonstrated ability to stay current with evolving technologies and industry practices through continuous education and trainingOSHA 10-hour certification preferred Travel Requirements:Anticipated 100% travel to project sites nationwideAbility to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
