*Job title: Assembler* *Duration: 4+ months( Contract)* *Shift: 05:00 AM– 13:30 PM with overtime and weekend hours as needed* *Pay rate: $20.00 - 21.00/hr on W2 without benefits* *Job Summary* The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues. \* Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures. \* Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products. \* Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies. \* Create labor records for all transactions. \* Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities: * Assemble, manufacture, and test mechanical, electrical, and fluid system components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. * Select and use appropriate tools, fixtures, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently. * Perform precision seam welding, testing, troubleshooting, rework, and repairs to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. * Read blueprints, identify components, maintain dimensional tolerances, create labor records, and document production activities. * Support new production setups, first article builds, and continuous improvement initiatives while following Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles. * Perform routine equipment maintenance, maintain a clean and safe work area, and collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure on-time customer delivery.
