Mid to Senior Level Civil or Structural Engineer
Summary of Responsibilities· Manage Civil Engineering, Design and Construction related projects· Design and/or be lead project manager in charge of civil projects, including (but not limited to) roads, drainage, water, sewer, site, and flood protection.· Coordinate with geotechnical and survey (and other) sub-consultants· Lead EIs and other technical staff on projects, while also assisting in their development.Required Qualifications· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering· Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana· Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing and/or managing civil engineering, planning and construction projectsKnowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.Familiarity with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation and new design.Highly familiar with relevant civil construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations and making decisions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team to meet business objectives.Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, technology, math principles, predictive models, spreadsheets, and tools.Experience with discipline-specific design software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS).Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.Although not anticipated, occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.Benefits· Extremely competitive Compensation, with immediate bonus eligibility· Excellent 401K plan with employer match· Medical, Dental, Vision and Supplementary insurance coverages· Small business work environment with large business resources Compensation Competitive pay range based on level of experience with immediate bonus eligibility
