Firefighter/EMT-Basic

Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as EMT-Basics. As an EMT-Basic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to individuals in need. This position requires quick thinking, compassion, and the ability to work well under pressure. Duties: - Respond to emergency calls promptly and provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured - Assess the nature of the patient's condition and manage injuries or illnesses following established protocols - Safely transport patients to medical facilities for further evaluation and treatment - Communicate with medical personnel at the receiving facility to ensure appropriate patient care - Maintain accurate patient care documentation Experience: - Possession of a valid EMT-Basic certification - Proficiency in CPR, first aid, and basic life support techniques - Valid Montana Driver's License - Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary - Competency in monitoring vital signs accurately Joining our team as an EMT-Basic offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives during critical situations.
