Position Details: Start Date: February 10, 2025 End Date: Ongoing assignment with long-term potential Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Specific days split between two nearby clinics Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 patients per shift Scope of Practice: Outpatient only, no hospital privileges required Care for patients of all ages, from infants to adults Provide minor procedures, such as suturing and patient stabilization when necessary Support Staff: Includes medical assistants and office staff Requirements: Active New Mexico license or eligibility Board Certification in Family Practice (Nurse Practitioner) DEA license and controlled substance certification ACLS and BLS certifications Ability to work independently with access to a medical director for consultation Additional Information: Credentialing process takes 60-90 days CDL certification preferred but not mandatory Coverage during select holidays (e.g., New Year's Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving) No call, inpatient duties, or teaching responsibilities Why This Opportunity?
