DescriptionThe successful Grinder candidate will be able to operate hand-held grinders and produce precise finishes on materials. Attention to detail and safety is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate hand-held grinders.Monitor operations and inspect finished products.Perform routine maintenance on equipment.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Follow supervision directions on tasks at hand.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience as a Grinder or similar role.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods standing and stretching to install and repair pipes and pipe fittings.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Ability to work in an outdoor shipyard with exposure to extreme heat/cold at times.
