What You’ll Do In The Role
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, Software Engineer to work on infrastructure releases for wealth management technology in New York, New York. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading transformation initiatives and release software engineering for wealth‑management products.
Coordinating large technology events such as data center isolation tests and change risk assessments.
Managing software releases at various stages, including production fixes, certificate releases, password rotation, and large technology change events.
Ensuring proper monitoring, management reporting, and governance to support delivery efforts.
Coordinating change execution activities and performing deployment analysis and scheduling.
Creating consolidated implementation plans for change packages and providing status reporting before, during, and after events.
Assisting with issue and risk resolution during change events and following up to ensure closure.
Transitioning environments to the Application Support Group via formalized handoffs after each event.
Evaluating post‑event outcomes, communication, and reporting for large projects originating from production instability.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Five years of experience in a similar role, or in an Associate Consultant capacity within software development.
Five years of experience with the following skills:
Infrastructure releases, networks, and authentication products (e.g., Kerberos)
Apigee, Unix, Windows, Teradata, Snowflake, Tableau, Kafka, Autosys, MQ, SOLR, SQL, Web, QlikView, Git, JIRA, MS Visio, PowerPoint
KoreAI, Apica, Tereo, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, and Capital Markets.
Benefits and Compensation
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $192,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Compensation may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, short and long‑term incentive packages, and other benefit programs specific to the position.
