The position involves handling a variety of surgical cases. Average number of cases per day is 37. Required certifications include CST and BLS. Common surgical procedures include Orthopedic Trauma, Robotics, Neuro/Spine, Plastics, ENT, Urology. The facility operates a level 1 Trauma Center. Shifts are generally self-scheduled. Weekend call shifts are required, with a response time of 2 hours. Blue surgical scrubs will be provided. This role does not require floating to other facilities. Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shift cancellations during the assignment. Charting system used is EPIC. Unit-specific orientation will occur prior to starting on the unit.
