This is a field-based role for technically skilled professionals who take pride in quality workmanship, operate with a safety-first mindset, and are ready to contribute to a high-utilization team with a deep project pipeline.Placement title and compensation are commensurate with certification level and field experience. NETA and NICET EPT certifications are preferred but not required strong hands-on apparatus testing experience will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesField Testing & Technical ServicesPerform acceptance and maintenance testing per NETA standards on medium- and high-voltage equipmentTest and troubleshoot:Switchgear (LV/MV)Power transformersCircuit breakersProtective relays and protection systemsExecute LOTO and safety procedures in compliance with NFPA 70EConduct arc-flash and shock hazard evaluations as requiredReporting & DocumentationAnalyze test results and identify deficienciesGenerate detailed field service reports and documentationProvide timely updates to management and clients on findings and project statusTeam & LeadershipSupport or lead field crews depending on experience and certification levelMentor junior technicians and trainees as applicableLeadership Expectations by Level:Level II: Executes testing under supervision; building technical foundationLevel III: Leads small crews, owns portions of projects independentlyLevel IV: SME / Lead Tech client-facing, full project ownership, mentors junior staffQualificationsRequired:28+ years of electrical testing experience (range is level dependent)Strong understanding of power distribution systemsFamiliarity with NETA standards and NFPA 70EAbility to travel up to 50%Valid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background check and drug screeningCertification One of the Following:NETA Certification (Level II, III, or IV) preferredNICET EPT Certification (Level II, III, or IV) accepted equivalentNo certification candidates with strong hands-on apparatus testing experience will be considered; certification is not required to applyAlso Preferred:OSHA 30, CPR/First AidPowerDB proficiencyOEM test equipment experience: Megger, Doble, Omicron, or similarCompensation & BenefitsLevel - Experience - Hourly RangeLevel II - ~24 yrs / NETA II, NICET EPT II, or equivalent - $35 $60/hrLevel III - ~58 yrs / NETA III, NICET EPT III, or equivalent - $65 $75/hrLevel IV - 8+ yrs / NETA IV, NICET EPT IV, or equivalent - $75 $85+/hrAdditional Compensation & Benefits:Per diem: ~$127/day (GSA rate)Company card or full expense reimbursementTravel covered: lodging, flights, rental car as applicableOvertime available depending on project scopeFull benefits package: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with matchCompany vehicle providedTravel & Work ConditionsUp to 50% travel, varies by client and projectField-based work across industrial, utility, and data center environmentsOvertime available on active projectsStandard travel rotation (Regional): Monday out, Friday home weekends protected- Ideal candidate will be willing to some travel-Not a hard requirement.
