Security Operations ManagerWe're hiring a Security Operations Manager to take ownership of how we protect our systems and data day to day. You'll report to the Director of Cybersecurity and run point on our SOC, vulnerability management, and DLP programs — basically, if it touches how we detect, respond to, or prevent security incidents, it's yours.This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be in the weeds with the team during incidents, but also thinking bigger picture about where our security posture needs to go next.What we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 4+ years of experience instead5+ years in infosec — could be from software dev, infrastructure, ops, or incident response backgroundsYou understand AI well enough to know where it helps security teams and where it introduces new riskCISM or CISSP is a plus, not a dealbreakerYou've actually run a SOC before, not just worked in oneComfortable with MDR, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and vulnerability management toolingYou know your way around SOX, CCPA, PCI, NIST, and CIS18Experience working in SaaS-heavy environments and managing vendorsYou think in terms of risk, threat modeling, and what could actually go wrongPeople follow you because they trust you, not just because of your titleYou stay level-headed when things are on fireYou keep up with emerging threats instead of reacting after the factYou know your way around AWS, Azure, or GCP securityWhat you'll actually be doing:Running the SOC — keeping it tight, efficient, and ahead of new threats, not just reactive.Owning incident response — from first alert to full recovery, plus the post-mortems that make the next one go smoother. You'll build playbooks and run simulations with IT and GRC so the org isn't scrambling when something happens.Leading vulnerability management — assessments, prioritization, remediation, and keeping leadership in the loop with real metrics, not vague updates.Running DLP — protecting sensitive data across the board and auditing regularly to make sure it's actually working.Thinking ahead on AI — evaluating AI security tools, understanding new AI-driven threats, and making sure AI gets used responsibly across the security org.Building the team — hiring, mentoring, setting real goals, giving honest feedback, and making the business case for security wins.
