Safety Manager - TravelIES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, is seeking a full-time constructionSafety Manager to cover the Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota area.Job SummaryWorks under direct supervision of Division Safety ManagerAssists in New Employee Safety Orientation trainingInspects and audits projects/jobsites compliance with IES C&I safety policies, procedures, programsConducts employee training on IES-C&I safety policies, procedures and programsConducts safety toolbox meetings on projects/jobsitesInvestigates incidents and near-misses with prevention recommendationsLeads safety inspection process; assists management to ensure all violations are corrected immediatelyCompletes other duties as directed by Division Safety ManagerTravel may be required.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years construction safety experience on large scale construction projects required; 3-5 yrs. electrical construction experience preferredKnowledge of OSHA, state, federal safety regulations and electrical construction industry practicesMust possess/maintain OSHA-30 Certification and 1st Aid/CPR CertificationAbility to read and interpret all safety regulations and apply them to Company policies and practicesAbility to work/lead in an ethical and safe manner, to solve problems and adjust priorities, and support the company's valuesAbility to communicate effectively with management and field employeesSuccessfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.Must possess at least one of the following:Certified Safety Professional (CSP)Associate Safety Professional (ASP)Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST)Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)Graduate or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)Safety Trained Supervisor – Construction (STS-C)Bachelor's degree or higher in EHS discipline or EHS related fieldBenefits401(k) Retirement Plan with company discretionary match, flexible medical-dental-vision insurance, short-term/long-term disability insurance, basic life/AD&D insurance, paid holidays, and highly competitive pay in addition to paid-time-off.Company OverviewIES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, Inc.
