The facility maintains 24-hour availability for anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology, ensuring excellent patient care and physician support.Opportunity:Physician (MD) - Emergency MedicineJob Details:• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a)• Handle annual patient volume of 32,000 with daily volume of 90-100 patients• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift• Work with 1 physician and 2 mid-level providers in split coverage model• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS• Active North Carolina medical license required• Board certification required• EMR system: Meditech 6.1• Open ICU available for patient care• Hospital-owned apartments provided for housing• Travel costs capped at $500• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days• 24-hour support services include anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiologyCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
