IT Technician

Overview: IT Technicians or help Desk Support Key responsibilities for providing technical assistance towards the business/orgnization and support clients (end-users) with technical difficulties. IT Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s IT infrastructure Responsibilities: 1. Ensure user problems and requests are completed through a ticketing system. 2. Collaborate and work with team members to create and maintain a standard and consistent operating procedure along with technical documentation. 3. Ensuring all workspace and equipment’s are maintained via policy and procedures. 4. Perform duties assigned. 5. Install, maintain and configure computer, network and software systems. 6. Manage user accounts and permissions. 7. Perform troubleshooting, diagnose issues and resolve problems. 8. Assist in remote connection (if needed) 9. Allow an open mind for receiving feedback and improvement. 10. Help build team spirit and seek to be involved in projects. Qualifications: 1. Proven work experience as a Help desk technician, Desktop Support Technician, IT Technician, or similar role. 2. Hands-on experience with either Windows/Linux/Mac OS environment 3. Ability to lift 40 pounds. 4. Strong troubleshooting skills 5. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. 6. Comply with HIPPA and OSHA standards 7. Basic understanding of computer networks and security processes 8. PC setup and installation along with VoIP phones. 9. Experience identifying and resolving PC related issues 10. Building and maintaining a positive end user relationship systems are functioning properly along with the security for patient data are held confidential and that staff members (end users) have the tools they need for efficient work flow.
