Structural Engineer

We are a small, growing structural engineering firm seeking an entry- to mid-level Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in growing with the company while taking on increasing responsibility over time. Our firm works with a wide range of building materials and project types, including new building design, forensic engineering, building component design, erection engineering, and renovations across residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Prepare structural design calculations in accordance with applicable material and building codes Perform structural analysis using a variety of analysis software Model structures and prepare construction drawings and details using Revit and AutoCAD Assist with residential and commercial site visits to document and measure existing framing conditions Design individual building components such as: Steel connections Steel stairs and railings Tilt-up concrete wall panels Reinforced concrete elements Light-gauge metal framing Prepare structural inspection and field observation reports Assemble structural submittal packages for review and approval Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred) or equivalent 0–3 years of relevant structural engineering experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team What We Offer Opportunity to grow with a small firm and gain exposure to a wide variety of project types Mentorship and hands-on experience across design, analysis, and field work Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid/remote work after initial training A collaborative work environment where your contributions matter Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Relocation assistance Compensation Package: Bonus opportunities Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Commute: Indianapolis, IN 46220 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Indianapolis, IN 46220: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
