Election Field Support StaffPay: $30/hr Location: Wicomico County, MDPosition Overview: We are hiring Election Field Support staff to assist with upcoming Board of Elections operations. In this role, you will be assigned to early voting locations or election day polling sites to help ensure everything runs smoothly.No prior election experience is requiredtraining will be provided.What You'll Be Doing:Provide on-site support at assigned voting locationsAssist with basic troubleshooting of equipment or setup issuesWork alongside election staff, including Chief Judges and support teamsReport and document any issues that ariseAssist with ballot drop box pickups when neededSupport additional tasks as directed by election leadershipSchedule: Varies based on election needs (Early Voting & Election Day coverage)Work Environment & Travel:Assigned to a voting site within Wicomico CountyMay require travel between locations within the county and occasionally within the stateMust have reliable transportation (personal vehicle required)Training Requirement:Must attend a pre-assignment meeting/training with the Election Director or designated staff before startingWhat We're Looking For:Reliable and professional individualsComfortable following instructions and working in a team environmentAbility to problem-solve and stay calm under pressureWillingness to work long hours on Election Day if needed
