Full Stack Engineer - Java / AWS / Onprem DBTexas, Westlake 01/15/2026 Contract Active Job Description:Job Summary: As a Full Stack Engineer - Java / AWS / Onprem DB, you will be a hands-on technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining scalable backend and cloud-based applications. This role requires strong Java and Spring Boot expertise, experience working in AWS environments, and ownership of CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and performant applications that support critical business functions. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot Build and enhance RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable builds and deployments Deploy, monitor, and support applications in AWS cloud environments Work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases to support application functionality Implement DevSecOps practices including unit, integration, and automation testing Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other engineers to deliver sprint goals Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis Mentor junior engineers and contribute to coding standards and best practices Ensure application performance, security, and scalability Required Skills:Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot Experience designing and consuming REST APIs Hands-on experience running and maintaining CI/CD pipelines 3+ years of experience working in AWS cloud environments Experience with at least one database technology: - Oracle - PL/SQL - DynamoDB Knowledge of microservices architecture and Docker containers Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Preferred Skills:Experience with event-driven architectures Knowledge of DevSecOps automation and testing frameworks Experience with NoSQL and distributed systems Familiarity with security and performance testing tools Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
