PPLIED offers this service free of charge at Pplied.com, solving hiring challenges on both sides with a single solution.Role Description The Software Test Engineer role at PPLIED is a full-time, remote position focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of the platform’s features and services. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications, and execute manual and automated tests across web and backend components. You will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify defects, reproduce issues, and validate fixes prior to release. Daily responsibilities include documenting test results, maintaining test environments, contributing to test plans, and participating in code and design reviews from a quality perspective. You will help improve testing processes, support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and provide clear feedback that enhances user experience and system stability.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Testing, Test Execution, and creating and maintaining Test Cases.Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Software Development and Testing principles and methodologies.Experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) is beneficial.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (such as Git), and defect tracking tools is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reproducible, well-documented test results.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a distributed, remote team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience is advantageous.Experience testing web-based platforms or SaaS products, particularly in HRTech or recruiting domains, is a plus.Note : We are hiring for our partners.
