Job DescriptionPosition SummaryThe Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Duties:Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO SupplyMaintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employeesRead and comply with ECCO’s Health and Safety Policies and ProceduresRead and comply with ECCO’s Human Resources Policies and ProceduresAssist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at workAdhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance proceduresReceive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving proceduresMaintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directedPerform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipmentPick/ship goods to customers in an efficient and accurate mannerEnsure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shippingFill out/prepare picking ticketsAssist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessaryEnsure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all timesReport any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately to your supervisorParticipate in yearly inventory countOther duties as deemed necessary by ManagementDue to the dynamic nature of this Company, the duties and responsibilities may reasonably change from time to time.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have forklift experiencePhysically capable of lifting up to 50lbAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a teamStrong sense of time organization and urgencyGood written and verbal communication skillsDesire to be a long-term employee and contribute to the company’s overall successWhy Join ECCOFor more than 60 years, ECCO has been committed to excellence in manufacturing, distribution, and customer service.
