Headquartered in Baltimore, MD, HBM operates seven branches in the region, along with an additional office in Silver Spring, MD. The bank focuses on fostering economic growth by offering a wide range of financial services and products tailored to meet the needs of local residents and businesses. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in Street, MD, for a Customer Service Representative. The role involves addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, assisting with account management, and providing exceptional customer service. The representative will also educate customers on the bank's products and services, process financial transactions, manage account documentation, and promote positive customer experiences. Maintaining compliance with all banking regulations and policies will be essential. Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse clientele and handle customer inquiries effectivelyExperience in account management, transaction processing, and general banking operationsProficiency in communication, both verbal and written, with attention to detail and active listeningFamiliarity with banking regulations and policies to ensure complianceAbility to learn and operate banking software systems and handle confidential financial information with discretionProblem-solving and multitasking skills for managing daily responsibilities in a dynamic environmentBachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be consideredPrior experience in customer service, call centers, or banking is a plus
