With deep technical expertise and a commitment to quality and partnership, WCC Technologies Group is a trusted provider of technology solutions built for today and the future.Role Description WCC Technologies Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the successful delivery of customer infrastructure projects while helping mature the organization's project management practices. The Technical Project Manager is primarily responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, and internal teams. In addition to project delivery, this role supports portfolio management, project reporting, continuous process improvement, and administration of the organization's Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, and Tempo) platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure with excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead customer infrastructure projects through all phases including planning, execution, deployment, documentation, and project closeout.Serve as the primary project manager and central point of communication between customers, general contractors, engineering teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers to ensure successful project delivery.Coordinate engineering, logistics, procurement, staging, field deployment, and project support activities to meet customer expectations.Monitor project scope and manage change requests to ensure alignment with contractual requirements.Prepare and present regular project status reports, executive summaries, and customer updates.Track project KPIs including schedule performance, resource utilization, financial performance, project health, and overall delivery progress.Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, meeting notes, action items, deliverables, and project closeout documentation.Support the management of the overall project portfolio by assisting with project prioritization, resource forecasting, and workload planning.Coordinate internal operational initiatives and assist with RFP planning and proposal activities as needed.Identify opportunities to improve project management processes, reporting, and operational efficiency through automation and standardization.Serve as the organization's primary administrator for Jira, Confluence, and Tempo, including workflow configuration, dashboards, automation, permissions, and user support.Promote consistent project management standards and ensure teams follow established project management, documentation, and time tracking processes.Provide mentorship and guidance to cross-functional teams on project management best practices.Qualifications10+ years of progressive experience managing technical infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of enterprise networking, servers, cloud infrastructure, and IT systems.Proven experience managing multiple concurrent customer projects from initiation through completion.Strong experience administering Jira, including workflows, dashboards, automation, permissions, and integrations.Experience with Confluence, Tempo, or similar project and resource management platforms.Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, scope, resources, and stakeholder communications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, general contractors, executive leadership, and technical teams.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred.PMP certification preferred; Scrum Master or Atlassian certifications are a plus.
