Role description Onsite Delivery Head, AI – BFSI DomainExperience: 20 years overall, with 10+ years in client leadership roles in AI / Data Science / Analytics.Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleThe Onsite Delivery Head (ODH) for the AI Practice – Banking & Financial Services (BFS) will lead end-to-end delivery for large, strategic BFS accounts. This role combines strong delivery and P&L ownership, deep AI / GenAI expertise, and senior client leadership to drive business outcomes across complex, multi-stream AI programs.The ODH serves as the single point of accountability for delivery excellence, ensuring client satisfaction, financial performance, talent development, and scalable AI impact across BFS engagements. Key Responsibilities1. Account & Delivery Ownership·                Own end-to-end delivery for large, strategic BFS AI accounts, spanning multiple engagements and workstreams.Establish and run robust delivery governance across scope, quality, timelines, risk, and outcomes.Oversee complex AI programs including GenAI, advanced analytics, ML, MLOps, and business impact realization across BFS use cases (risk, compliance, fraud, credit, customer intelligence, operations). 2. P&L, Margin & Account Health Management·                Own account-level P&L, driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency.Track and improve key metrics such as utilization, realization, billing, pyramid optimization, and delivery productivity.Apply delivery levers including automation, asset reuse, and offshore–onsite optimization to improve margins. 3. Client & Stakeholder Leadership·                Build trusted relationships with senior BFS stakeholders (Business Heads, CIOs, CDOs, Risk Leaders, Practice Heads).Act as the voice of delivery in client forums, articulating business value, execution confidence, and AI outcomes.Partner with sales and presales teams on renewals, upsell/cross-sell, and proactive solution shaping. 4. People & Talent Leadership·                Lead, coach, and mentor cross-functional AI teams including data scientists, GenAI engineers, MLOps engineers, analysts, and delivery managers.Build a high-performance culture focused on delivery rigor, innovation, learning, and accountability.Own workforce planning, hiring, and talent scaling aligned to BFS AI demand.Collaborate with the AI / Data Science CoE to build reusable accelerators, platforms, and best practices. 5. Technical & Domain Leadership (BFS-Focused AI)·                Guide solution design and validate approaches across ML, GenAI, NLP, forecasting, classification, recommender systems, and MLOps.Be hands-on as needed in client discussions, architecture reviews, and technical escalations.Stay current with AI and GenAI trends (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI governance) and BFS-specific regulatory and risk considerations.  Required Skills & Qualifications·                20+ years of overall experience, with 10+ years in senior delivery and client leadership roles in AI / Data Science / Analytics.Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-million-dollar BFS analytics and AI programs.Strong understanding of Banking & Financial Services domains, including risk, compliance, fraud, credit, and customer analytics.Deep technical expertise in ML, GenAI, NLP, MLOps, and AI lifecycle management.Hands-on familiarity with Python/R, ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Demonstrated ability to drive account profitability, stakeholder trust, and delivery excellence.Excellent communication, executive presence, and strategic problem-solving skills.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred.
